MRWED Cert IV TAE40110 Course Info Sheet
MRWED Training and Assessment has always been highly regarded for our user-friendly recognition services that allow students the option to obtain their qualifications through Assessment Only Recognition, Skills Recognition, Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) and other names that are captured by the umbrella term of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). MRWED Training and Assessment also offers dedicated upgrade course options for people who recently completed BSZ40198 Certificate in Assessment and Workplace Training, enabling them to save money and time in upgrading their qualification.
MRWED Training and Assessment has a strong commitment to helping Australians who live in rural areas and others who are unable to attend our popular face-to-face training by offering a MRWED Correspondence Course.
Face to Face
MRWED Training and Assessment's public courses provide most Australians with easy access to MRWED Training and Assessment's popular courses and trainers. To complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment requires training in all four competency fields. You choose your preferred dates for each of the four fields. By completing one competency field at a time through 2-3 days training per month you can normally complete your training within a 3 month period. Alternatively, you might prefer to fast-track your course by completing two fields in the same week of training and then completing the other two fields in another week approximately a month later. The choice is yours!
MRWED Training and Assessment has never cancelled a student enrolment because of insufficient course enrolments, so you can rely confidently upon this timetable in sending in an enrolment application. However, MRWED Training and Assessment has a "first in, first served" policy regarding enrolments and courses are regularly sold out, so once you have chosen your preferred course early enrolment is advised.
Upon enrolling students are immediately sent a letter confirming acceptance into their chosen course detailing the dates and times for their training. Once MRWED Training and Assessment accepts your enrolment you can be confident that there won't be any unexpected surprises because MRWED Training and Assessment has a policy that we never cancel an enrolment because of a lack of participants. MRWED Training and Assessment payment options include Cheque, Money Order, BPay, Post Billpay available at all Australia Post locations, Credit Card Payments (by Visa or MasterCard), and invoicing to employers and other approved organisations.

Correspondence
MRWED Training and Assessment has a strong commitment to helping Australians who live in rural areas and others who are unable to attend our popular face-to-face training. You can start a MRWED Training and Assessment Correspondence Course anytime. Just like our face-to-face courses the MRWED Training and Assessment Correspondence Course provides a high quality, price competitive course.
The course fee includes:
- Correspondence Studies Overview
- All workbooks
- All required textbooks
- Practical Assessments
Email Support – you will be able to have email support with a nominated tutor to enable you to ask questions and provide draft assessments for feedback.
MRWED Training and Assessment has put a lot of research and planning into how we assess the correspondence course, so that the assessments are enjoyable and relevant to your ongoing career development. MRWED Training and Assessment has historically found that most students prefer fill-in-the-blank type assessments rather than potentially problematic multiple choice questions or essays. Consequently, most of our assessments are short answer questions included in Assessment Booklets that are mailed to you when you enrol. To give you realistic scenarios that duplicate real work practices, there are also some projects so that you can follow a training or assessment process through all of the planning, conducting and reviewing phases - These are almost always very popular with our students. Finally, there are some practical components that are observed by either a MRWED assessor (Don't worry we train them to be extra-friendly), video submission, or a third-party assessor. These will be organised with the help of the tutor who will be allocated to help you when you enrol.
This course has been designed to support the external student as much as possible. To enrol in MRWEDTraining and Assessment's Correspondence Course click here to enrol in Correspondence. If you want more detailed information about how a Correspondence course might work for you feel free to call the MRWED Training and Assessment team on FREECALL 1800 2 TRAIN (1800 287 246).

Recognition (RPL)
Under competency based training, the focus is with learners demonstrating competency in the specified areas. Competency can be demonstrated by the physical ‘doing’ and/or by evidence and documentation that documents the ‘doing’. Evidence is anything that supports a claim by the candidate that they are competent or a demonstration of competence based on a recognised standard, learning outcome and/or performance under certain conditions.
Before submitting a recognition (RPL) application to MRWED Training and Assessment please review the guidelines and instructions obtained in the RPL Kit for either the TAA Full Course or the Upgrade Course. Additional information on the RPL process along with both of these RPL Kits are available to be viewed or downloaded from our RPL page. Go to RPL process and documents!
